Hangover
I never really understood hangover. I kept thinking, only people who got DRUNK then would they get hangover. But, come to think about it. Whats the definition of drunk?
It was my virgin clubbing session with ZhongRu, Wing, Edmund, Jingxian and Charlene that weird night. I had quite a lot to drink. I dont know what happened, I just drank a little more than usual. :S 2 tequila shots, 3 apple shooters, 1 magarita, and 1 white wine.
The next day, was hell.
Serious headache. Again I told myself, its not hangover. What is hangover anyways? I havent figured it out yet. Then I googled it.
Wikipedia explains: A hangover (veisalgia) describes the sum of unpleasant physiological effects following heavy consumption of drugs, particularly alcoholic beverages. The most commonly reported characteristics of a hangover include headache, nausea, sensitivity to light and noise, lethargy, dysphoria, and thirst.
Headache. Checked.
Nausea. Checked.
Thirst. Checked.
There you are. A hungover. Slept the entire day.
Next time, I will only have ONE drink. ONE.
