Life gets complicated
If a person is good to you, do
(1) genuinely thinks that he is good to you
(2) suspects that he is up to something, or wants something in return
Do you choose 1 or 2?
I was in Russia for their festival. After our show, we have people coming up to tell us how great our show was. I was really happy that people enjoyed it. It was such an honor to be there and get praises. So I was telling this person how glad i am, till she replied 应酬而已。
Why cant we just believe what people say? Why must there be a hidden agenda behind what people are saying?
